Haven RP Server Rules

1. We do not allow any form of racism, sexism, harassment, bullying, or any form of hate speech. We do not allow this in our VCs, RPs, or even in DMs.

   1. If you encounter any of this please DM a staff member and let us know what happened.

   2. If you can include screenshots so we can easily see what each party said so we can take appropriate actions.

2. If you are considered a minor by your local government, you must add a (M) in both your discord AND character name, failure to do this will result in disciplinary actions. Minors may NOT have relationship RPs.

   1. This is a 16+ server.

3. Hacking, exploiting, and using glitches or bugs in the game will NOT be tolerated.

4. All players who are on The Divine Vale’s server MUST read and understand the rules. If you have a question on one, feel free to DM a staff member and ask. Claiming that you didn’t read or understand the rules is not an excuse that is acceptable. This will cause a harsher punishment.

5. We work on an honor system with our members. If you find a glitch, bug, or even an exploit while doing normal game stuff and you do NOT tell us, it will cause things being wiped, killed, or even in you being possibly banned for a temporary time or longer. You are responsible for your actions just like the staff is for theirs.

6. Please do not spam in chats, voice, or text. 

7. Rerolling your character is allowed, although you must resubmitt a new application and remove everything belonging to your old character. When this is done send a screenshot of your tribe logs to an admin. Then DM an admin with your new application and if it’s okay, you will then delete your old one and submit your new one in the channel.

   1. Please do not start playing the new one until we can make sure the old one and   everything connected to it are deleted.

   2. You must give up EVERYTHING attached your character. You may not give it to someone else, to get it back. This is a loophole and is not allowed.

8. Advertising other RP servers in this discord, in voice, or in text is not allowed.

9. We also ask that you please do not spam this discord into other servers. We love that you want to share us with others, but don’t spam it.

10. In order to play on this server you must be be in this discord. Admins must be able to contact you privately incase of issues, so you can’t block them on discord. (If you have an issue with a staff member please bring it up to another staff member so that it can be dealt with.)

11. You must talk to rp, rping in the chat box is not allowed. The chat box is only used for displaying emotions like “She bends over to pick up a feather off the ground”.

RP Rules

1. No powergaming or invincible characters. (Example is to make others RP against their will like passing out, mind control, characters that can’t die.)

2. Do not nameplate. If you forget a character’s name, then ask again. This can cause issues if someone tells you a nickname and never their real character name.

3. No metagaming. This is finding out information OOC and using it IC. (Out of character/In character.)

4. Stay in character when typing or talking unless an emergency comes up. (Using a double (()) for emergencies means OOC.)

5. Please create a tribe as soon as you make your character, this helps us help you with any issues that may come.

6. When posting on the IC board, please ensure that you type it as if you were acting it out IC.

7. Ravens are not allowed to be exchanged in dm’s, we have mailboxes for a reason.

8. No stealing from sleepers that have logged off in a safe place. Inns/houses are safe places. Out in the open is not. Crashed people who are attempting to log in are not allowed to be stolen from.

9. You are not allowed to kite (lure) wild creatures into someone’s base, structures, or dinos.

10. Attacking someone’s neutral dinos to lure them away is also not allowed.

11. You are not allowed to hide your Gold on animals that hide in the ground it is not rp friendly

PvP Do’s and Don’ts

1. In order to activate pvp, you must have atleast 5 minutes of RP leading up to the Pvp. (These actions must be clear.)

2. No KoS. (Killing on Sight.)

3. Hostages can be kept for as long as a person agrees OOC, any method can be used to kidnap someone.

4. Torture is allowed with consent, can give minor disabilities.

5. When in PvP, you can not pop out soulballed animals, and you must use the ones already out. 

6. If you die, or get “knocked out” in PvP, you can not return to the area for 5 to 10 minutes.

7. You need 1 hostile encounter to perma’s someone's character, your intentions to perma someone's character must be made clear. You also need 10 minutes of rp before you can perma that character.

8. Killing passive animals are against the rules. You may only kill those that were actively used in the PvP, or if being used as a wall or a defense.

9. Soulballed dinos can NOT be stolen.

10. You can not offline raid. This is unfair and not allowed.

11. No combat logging. If you are being attacked or raided, you must stay ingame unless an emergency comes up. (Let an admin know if an emergency comes up.)

13. Any raiding must be submitted in a ticket or in the raid channel with the name of who you wish to raid. Once an admin sees it and confirms, then you must give the other party 30 minutes of warning before the raid begins.

14. A raid party consists of 3 to 5 people, anything over 5 is considered a war party.

15. If a tribe surrenders, all PvP must end, the defending tribe may then unlock doors and chests to prevent things from being broken.

16. If there is no activity for 1 hour from the raiding tribe, then the raid is over.

17. During raids, you may set your turrets to “Attacking Survivors” for the duration of the raid. These need to be changed back after the raid.

18. If someone is raided, they then have a 3 day grace period where they can not be raided again.

19. If you wish to declare war you must post in the war declaration channel with 3 reasons why you wish to declare and 3 war terms. You also need to set up a war camp.

20. If someone wishes to aid in the war they must declare who they are assisting within 30 minutes of the original declaration.

21. Must go through gates not walls, honeycombing is not allowed.

22. Once done raiding you are only allowed to break 1 container per-person.

23. The use of bolas, grappling hook, whip is prohibited in pvp.

24. The use of tranq arrows (regular, rpe or ether) is prohibited in pvp.

25. The use of trap is prohibited for pvp(small and large trap, narcotic ,etc).

26. The use of the torch for pvp is prohibited.

27. 1The use of clubs is prohibited in pvp.

28. The use of any weapons that adds fire,water,blood damage(water elven blade,fire sword,etc) is prohibited from being crafted and used. 

29. The use of any dino that uses torpidity in attacking is not allowed.

30. Tranq and Torpidity items may not be used in combat.

31. You are not allowed to use an mount ( Animal) that is able to remove a player off their mount in pvp!

Building Rules

1. Plant Species X, 15 allowed at a kingdom, 3 are allowed at a house

2. Please do not use sinks as long term watering for crops

3. Stone or wood platforms are allowed.

4. No crafting skins that will break the time period or immersion. (If you have questions about a skin, ask.)

5. Radios are not in our time period, please do not use them.

6. Using dino gateways or behemoth gates around your base is a no-no. Please build a proper wall.

7. No foundation spamming for claiming of land, if you want to build then build.

8. You are allowed to build temporary structures for player event purposes, but you must get admin approval first via ticket, then you must take them down.

9. Do not build in caves, artifact or normal.

10. Please make sure your structures look realistic, no floating boxes etc. Tootsies

11. No overly big bases, please use common sense. 

12. No blocking major resources spawn areas.

13. Any temporary structures for taming are fine, but must be picked up afterwards. Failure to do so and your tribe will be warned. Too many warnings can result in a harsher punishment.
